The American Craft Spirits Association (ACSA) is offering a free safety webinar on Thursday, August 9th, from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm EST that will cover lockout-tagout, the procedures that ensure dangerous machines are shut off and not able to be started again before the completion of maintenance or repairs. Lockout-tagout is essential, and mandated by law in many countries.
Machinery contains many hazards to workers, including electricity, hydraulic or pneumatic pressure, extreme temperatures, liquids, gases, steam, spring tension, and moving parts.
