This field day will feature guided tours of the research plots that include winter and spring variety and management trials. Additionally, speakers from the seed, malting, distilling and production industries will offer their insights and perspectives on malting barley in Michigan. Brook Wilke, farm manager at MSU Kellogg Biological Station, will present on the past, current and potential research surrounding malting barley. A free networking lunch will be provided to registered attendees.
