Also in November, the Distillery of Modern Art (DoMA) announced the inaugural release of its Bourbon Whiskey and Rye Whiskeys, both made with malt from Member Malthouse Riverbend Malt House. Read more about these new products on Fred Minnick’s blog.
According to data published by the The Business Research Company, the flour, rice and malt market size has grown strongly in the past few years and is anticipated to grow from $141.77 billion in 2023 to $151.24 billion in 2024 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.7%. The growth in the historic period can be attributed, says a press release, to staple food demand, agricultural production, traditional culinary practices, global export, and food processing.
