- Beer writer Hollie Stephens discusses “Seeds of Change – The Promise (and Challenges) of New Brewing Grains” such as Kernza and Salish Blue wheat in an informative article for Good Beer Hunting.
- Another Craft Malt Certified participant is making waves in “SODO’s Westland Whiskey named Sustainable Distillery of the Year,” published in Seattle Refined.
- Read “Malting ‘revival’ and provenance discussed at ANHC” in Australia’s BrewsNews to learn about Voyager Craft Malt founder Stu Whytcross’s recent presentation at the Australian National Homebrewing Conference.
- In late October, some of our Member Malthouses were featured in “Craft Maltsters Share Insight on ‘22 Harvest” in the newly relaunched All About Beer Magazine.
- Also in October, Guild Executive Director Jesse Bussard talked about why “Craft Malt Isn’t the New Kid on the Block Anymore,” with beer writer, John Holl, for ProBrewer.
- A quick read, “Maine Craft Beer Is Fermenting an Agricultural Revolution,” published by Down East Magazine gives a by-the-numbers breakdown of local grain usage by brewers in Maine.
- Modern Farmer highlighted the work of Midwest-based Artisan Grain Collaborative in “Meet the Midwestern Bakers and Farmers Working to Rebuild a Local Grainshed.”
