Heirloom Malt Brewing Award 2018

Ten nominated breweries have been chosen by the RMI Analytic Heirloom Malt Brewing Award 2018 jury, headed by Sylvia Kopp of the Brewers Association. Ms. Kopp and her team of 4 international judges selected the best beer recipes out of 28 candidates from 9 countries. The 10 nominees will compete for the RMI Analytics Heirloom Malt Brewing Award 2018 at the Heirloom & Terroir Barley and Malt Symposium.

Wormtown Brewery (USA): Cream ale brewed with Chevalier, Hana, Champion of Vermont, Heirloom Massachusetts Corn

Nils Oscar AB (Sweden): Kellerbier brewed with Balder

Brauerei Hofstetten (Austria): Kellerbier brewed with Heines Haisa

The Cheshire Brewhouse (UK): English IPA brewed with Chevalier

Skagit Valley Malting (USA): Blonde Ale brewed with Obsidian

Toit Brewery (India): Ordinary Bitter brewed with Chevalier

Smash Brewing Project (Germany): Kellerpils with Barke

Muntons & Tiny Rebel (UK): ESB Cask brewed with Maris Otter

We2 Einzigartige Biererlebnisse (Germany): South German-style Hefeweizen brewed with Lauener Landweizen & Schwarze Pfauengerste

Deutsche Kreativebrauer (Germany): Historical Beer brewed with Chevalier & Spiegelgerste
