The Craft Maltsters Guild is excited to participate in the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America happening September 9-12 in Denver, CO. Craft maltsters now span the country as the nation strengthens support for local economies. Here’s how to connect with the Craft Maltsters Guild during CBC.
Hot Steeping
Head to the Craft Maltsters Guild at Booth #4904 to view demonstrations of the Hot Steep malt sensory method and sample malts from highlighted regional malthouses. Guests will receive an info pamphlet on the Hot Steep method, a tasting card with details of each malt, and samples of worts and malt from three different malthouses in each tasting.
Craft malts from five different regions across the US will be featured. Demonstrations are scheduled for the following dates and times (MST):
- Southeast – Friday, Sept. 10, 12:00-12:30 PM
- Northeast – Friday, Sept. 10, 1:30-2:00 PM
- Midwest – Saturday, Sept. 11, 12:00-12:30 PM
- Northwest – Saturday, Sept. 11, 1:30-2:00 PM
- Southwest – Sunday, Sept. 12, 10:00-10:30 AM
