The Craft Maltsters Guild seeks nominees for the 2022 Soles of Malt Award. Now in its fourth year, this award is named in memory of William Soles and stands for selfless and philanthropic stewardship of craft malt. The 2022 award recipient will be announced on Friday, February 18th during the 2022 Malt Cup Awards Ceremony, held during the guild’s annual Craft Malt Conference.
The winner will be chosen by a committee led by Guild co-founder and award creator, Twila Soles of Grouse Malt House, as well as past award recipients Ryan Hamilton, Dave Thomas, and Aaron MacLeod. The 2022 award winner will receive a $500 scholarship to provide an experience for learning and collaboration. The scholarship funding must be applied toward connecting and collaborating for the betterment of their soul and craft malt.
