The Craft Maltsters Guild invites maltsters, brewers, distillers, farmers, and other industry partners to join us for our 5th Annual Craft Malt Conference. The 2022 event will be a hybrid gathering and include both in-person and virtual event experience opportunities. In-Person Rates:  Early bird rates for the in-person conference option are $300 for Guild members and $500 for non-members and include access to both the in-person and virtual event activities.

Virtual Rates:  Virtual early bird rates will be $150 for Guild members and $250 for non-members. Virtual attendees will gain exclusive early access to recordings of the in-person conference educational seminars, in addition to the live-streamed sessions planned.

Location and Venue

The in-person portion of the 2022 conference will be held in Portland, Maine with the Holiday Inn By the Bay serving as our base for lodging and most activities for the event. Room rates for conference attendees are $135/night for single or double occupancy for standard rooms with two beds and $160/night for single or double occupancy for king rooms. Room reservations can be made online.

The virtual half of the event will take place on the Crowdcast platform, like our 2021 virtual conference.

Event Health & Safety Policy

In response to the growing threat of the Delta Variant, and in addition to the measures the state of Maine and local governments have in place, proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of entry will now be required for all Craft Malt Conference attendees.
