The Craft Maltsters Guild will bring back the second rendition of Craft Malt Week as a celebration of the burgeoning craft malt industry in North America from September 19-25, 2021.

The 2021 theme of Craft Malt Week is one of the Craft Maltsters Guild’s most important objectives: Education. This year, leverage Craft Malt Week to learn more about the educational resources of the Guild, motivate your customers to help tell the craft malt story, and empower craft beer and artisanal spirits consumers with information about and access to the craft malt community.

How To Participate in the second annual Craft Malt Week:

  1. Join one of the guild’s live craft malt conversations on social media. The schedule of these talks will be published in the coming weeks.
  2. Plan a Craft Malt Week activation (in-person or virtual) and submit it to our Craft Malt Week events calendar.
  3. Share your Craft Malt Week happenings on social by tagging @craftmalting and #craftmaltweek2021.

“Knowledge is power and our goal with this year’s Craft Malt Week is all about empowering the craft malt community (and those interested in joining it) through the educational tools, resources, workshops, and networks the Guild provides,” says Jesse Bussard, Guild Executive Director. “It’s also an excellent opportunity for maltsters, brewers, distillers, and other industry stakeholders to share, inform, engage, and learn from each other about the many facets of the craft malt supply chain. We hope you’ll join us for this seven-day plant-to-pint craft malt social media soirée!”
