Free – $20This webinar will be a primer on United States federal food safety law as it applies to craft maltsters, focusing on the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and its Preventive Controls for Human Food Rule (PCR). Andrew Marchev of the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems at the Vermont Law and Graduate School joins us to review the PCR components, food facility registration requirements, and some of the most common exemptions.
Speaker
Andrew Marchev is a Fellow at the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems (CAFS) at Vermont Law and Graduate School. As part of his duties, Andrew helps to run the Vermont Legal Food Hub. This program matches farmers, food entrepreneurs, and related non-profits with lawyers willing to volunteer their legal services for free. He also researches relevant topics in food and agricultural law and develops legal education resources for attorneys and people working in the food system.
