Craft Malt Certified™ brewery Wye Hill in Raleigh, North Carolina got the spotlight for their Luminous Beings IPA in Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine. Wye Hill invests in 100 percent craft malt from member malthouses Carolina Malt, Epiphany Craft Malt, and Sugar Creek Malthouse.

Craft Brewing Business overviewed the latest news across the malt industry, including the American Malting Barley Association report that cited barley acreage has increased by 4 percent. Also of note, eleven breweries across the country are crafting beers with Regenerative Organic Certified Kernza as part of Patagonia Provisions’ new brewery partnership program and Food21 of Pennsylvania has launched a regional malted barley branded as Allegheny Mountain Malt produced in collaboration with CNC Malt.
